Our Day in Boston

The first Saturday of fall has come and gone and with it our first family trip to Boston. We spent the morning at LEGO KidsFest, which was held at the Hynes Convention Center. Jonathan was thrilled to see a life size replica of R2-D2 made out of Lego's. He also loved the large scale Venator Star Destroyer.

After all that excitement we took the T to Quincy Market for some lunch and shopping. It was nice  to walk around, but it sure did not feel like fall. The leaves might be changing but the temperature was still in the 80's!!

We ended our day at the Boston Common and the Public Gardens. Mom and Dad enjoyed the shade while Jonathan played with the other children at the Tadpole Playground. Then it was off to find the famous bronze ducks from one of our favorite books.
