I decided to finally take a walk in the woods yesterday and ended up at Cat Hollow, a little wooded park in town. It was a bit chilly first thing in the morning but I really enjoyed myself. I was able to walk on top of the snow which was very helpful in keeping dry. I wish that I could have spent more then a half hour by the water, but my little fingers were getting too cold. It would have given me a chance to check out the other two dams that are along the river that runs along the walking trail. With all the snow that we have been getting and the warmer temps, the water level in the river is just high enough to make some beautiful waterfalls. I'm just disappointed that I wasn't able to capture all of them.
